Jane Bredeson is a performing artist in multiple instances of the phrase. Actress,writer,artist,director/producer of the Spooky Demeseia "entity" and the offshoots of creative works involved. A typical day for Jane starts with an onslaught of passionate endeavors. It is this love and passion,that provides the very fuel for her motivation in "The Arts." One morning, I may wake-up and start what ends up as a collection of pastel paintings of twisted,SpOoky dollies and the likes,sketching comics,developing character ideas and concepts,then go into the afternoon making what I call "T.A.R.T"(trash art.) T.A.R.T. is Spooky's personal brand of art made from any and every medium you could imagine.(SpOoky once made a broken flat iron into a Foo Dragon,the cord and plug became a hissing forked tongue)

The evening may consist of writing a screenplay as well as scripting for the live show,designing and building props for a mini-movie and live shows, involving lollipops,"zombees",and dollies!. The next day you may catch her hosting classic cartoons,stop animation shorts,and 1950's era vintage television on her live show. Surrounded by surreal characters and pretend friends,SpOoky and her cast, bring the audience a brand of SpOoky,Kooky,silly, live skits for her viewers entertainment. "I want to bring the teens and adult audience that special,nostalgic,whimsical,fun vibe of fond childhood memories and spooky Halloween vibes that you felt before trick or treating.I want for us,as adults, to be able to share that feeling,we all had, with the younger generation,not only from my era,but my grandparents generation of entertainment as well. Time changes the meanings of events, by sharing the past, we keep an idea or special feeling alive and well. This is one of my fondest passions."

You can see Jane on her live shows, as well as in her upcoming mini-movie,a twisted horror/fantasy tale to be released fall of 2010.You can also see Spooky DeMenseia making a cameo appearance,in the upcoming film, The Polite Mr. Turner ,a horror/thriller by Wicked Cinemas Studios.

In the works are the aforementioned,Spooky DeMenseia mini-movie and a set of dark,spooky tales,that will be produced for the screen and directed by Greg Gutierrez of Pumpkin Zombies. Greg is also the live director/co-producer of The Spooky DeMenseia Live and Interactive Show as well as Spooky D. Improv. shorts and interviews. Greg plays a huge role in the operative aspect of bringing Spooky DeMenseia to the screen and television. "If it weren't for his talents and direction,Spooky D. may have remained a well guarded secret and idea, shared by few. With Greg's dedication and confidence in the "entity of Spooky DeMenseia" the idea can and is being shared far and wide."

Next year Jane will partner with many friends in various charity events that address some issues that a lot of our society finds uncomfortable to acknowledge. This is the very reason,Jane has chosen these causes."The goal here is to benefit the various causes that are widely ignored,stereo-typed,and often unknown or brushed under the carpet as if they don't exist. "I have personally seen, that due to a lack of empathy,awareness and education,our society is largely ignorant to the existence of issues."Sadly,many people are uncomfortable and ill equipped to support victims or loved ones experiencing trauma or abuse. "I want to help knock down the barriers." The victims,needing help,are often "kicked to the waste-side" and their abuse dismissed,unacknowledged. They often have nowhere to turn for respite and even encounter prejudice and stereotyping.The causes we will be supporting are same sex domestic violence and abuse,all victims of D.V. including males,as well as other ignored D.V. issues/child abuse,and animal cruelty. We will strive to raise funds but also awareness and education on topics that are often ignored." I've witnessed situations where victims have no resources available,are abandoned by society,and this injustice simply needs to change."
